301 - It's Not Our Job to "Support" Small Businesses

The cultural narrative is that people simply don't "support" small businesses, which is why they end up closing down. In today's episode, we want to flip the script and look at this idea from the opposite perspective. Instead of us needing to support them, it's their job to earn our patronage, and then re-earn the right for us to come back again. When done well, it's amazing how much these businesses thrive.
